Chapter 1, Verses 15, 16 “For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints, I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers…”
It should be no surprise to us that faith in Jesus promotes love of others of similar faith. Paul’s response is to thank God for their concern for the other churches. Today, churches around the world are being attacked physically by the Evil One. We must hold them up in prayer.
Task for Today: Good time to remember that our love for other saints extends far beyond our local group of Christians. This love, of course, must manifest itself in action. Stay aware of opportunities to serve other saints in other places.
