“This phrase, ‘Yet once more,’ indicates the removal of things that are shaken—that is, things that have been made—in order that the things that cannot be shaken may remain.”

The concept ‘shaken’ is explained as removal. Things to be shaken are to be removed. Those things are identified as created things. All created things will be removed, taken away, melted in fervent heat. Spiritual things, including the Spiritual man, the recreated person, cannot be shaken and will remain. Goodbye, earth, hello heaven. Goodby to the planet and the countries on the planet and the cities on the planet. No place left on the planet for God to dwell. He does not dwell on earth but in heaven.

No place for recreated Christians to live and rule with Christ for a thousand years or a thousand days. If one reigns with Christ, one will have to go where Christ is reigning, and the Bible says He reigns in heaven. The kingdom of God, which Jesus established with His death, is not an earthly kingdom at all. It, therefore, will not disappear with the earth and stars. It will last forever in the eternal heavens. Those who have become a part of that kingdom will also live forever in the kingdom, which will be transferred to heaven and given to God to live with Him in His home, not ours.

Task for Today: First, make sure you are in the kingdom. Jesus spent three years teaching about the kingdom and giving instructions about membership. Second, give up your claims to earth; they are false and will be shaken. Third, look forward to the day when you and the remainder of God’s glorious kingdom are taken up into the heavens to ever be with the Lord.
