Hebrews 11:29

“By faith the people crossed the Red Sea as on dry land, but the Egyptians, when they attempted to do the same were drowned.”

Salvation by an act of God is not popular today. People would rather have things happen by chance or fate than see God intervein. To so many unbelievers today, they either can find an acceptable explanation, or they can disavow it. The Egyptians had a hard time believing what they saw as well. Even losing their firstborn child did not convince them they were dealing with a higher power. It took the collapsing of the Red Sea to make believers out of them, but it was too late.

Salvation is an act of God, no matter what situation or form it takes. Only the one who sends the death angel can stop the death angel. Every plague sent by God was controlled by God. Every wonder performed by God was to show that He is in charge of the universe. Those who fail to recognize that fact will when the sea falls, but it will be too late.

Task for Today: Today, while it is still today, hear His voice. You will believe either through faith or fact. Faith will save you; fact will come too late. Once the death angel has struck, his work cannot be undone. What’s on your door frame?
