“And they shall not teach, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying ‘Know the Lord,’ for they shall all know me, from the least of them to the greatest.”

This is not about knowing about God but it is about knowing God. Neither your neighbor nor your brother can do more than teach you about God. When God comes into your person and lives there as a Spirit then you will know Him. There is a major difference. Many people are still confused about this difference and think that the more they know about the more they know. The word of God tells you about God but only the indwelling of God allows you to know Him.

Notice that elsewhere in the scriptures we taught that all those who have God living in them are not different on the inside. There are no Jews or Gentiles, rich or poor, male or female or any other sort of physical divider. Inside, where the spirit of God dwells all human beings are exactly alike.

Task for Today: Do you know the Lord, today? Not just who He is and what He said or what He did. Do you know Him? Learn all you can about Him but do not fail to know Him in a personal way. Invite Him in.
