Psalm 150:6

“Let everything that has breath praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!” (Psalm 15:6)

In case we missed it, the psalmist closes with his permanent theme of praising the Lord. Even a slow student would have caught on by now. God wants the creation to praise him. Any way we can and every way we can praise should be going up from us to God.

God has defeated death through His Son. Therefore, we should praise Him.

God grants us grace in spite of how we receive it. Therefore, we should praise Him.

God wants us to live with Him forever in spite of our sinful nature. Therefore, we should praise Him.

Task for Today: Make your own list of reasons to praise God and starting today praise Him each coming day for one of these reasons. As you go, add to the list as it is close to limitless.

This is the last blog on Psalms. I hope you enjoyed them. Next week we begin a study of the book of Hebrews. If you enjoyed the look at verses from the Psalms please look for the blog to be released as a book in the near future.
