Comments on James

Chapter 2, Verse 10 “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become guilty of all of it.”

Now this, dear friends, is not rocket science. This verse does not require a PhD in Theology to understand. It was true under Moses’ law and it true under the law of love. James is still thinking about the treatment of others. Keeping all the regulations and following all the dots is valueless if we fail the love test.

Task for Today: Make sure you are concentrating on keeping the law of love above and beyond the many things Christians are supposed to do. Any of those things done without love for God or others is a transgression. “Love one another as…”
