Hebrews 11:20

“By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau.”

When Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau, he did not know the future except through the promises of God. He believed those promises and spoke of them not as something that might happen but as something that would happen. They were as real to him as if history instead of futuristic. In the same way, we should, by faith, believe that what Jesus has said to us is as good as history. There is no might to the one who walks by faith.

Task for Today: Walk by faith today. See tomorrow as if it were yesterday. That’s what faith gives you; the future as if it were the past. God will be faithful in all His promises to you. Reread them and count on them. Talk about them as if they had already occurred.
