Isaiah 59:21 ” ‘And as for me, this is my covenant with them,’ says the LORD: ‘My Spirit that is upon you, and my words that I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouth of your offspring, or out of the mouth of your children’s offspring,’ says the LORD, ‘from this time forth and forevermore.’”

The fact that you are reading this verse is evidence of the truth of the prophecy. All of God’s covenants are sure and steadfast, and generation after generation will be telling others about them. From the day of Isaiah to the coming of the Messiah, men spoke of this covenant that promised a Redeemer that would come to Zion.

Even today, two thousand years plus His coming men are subject to His redeeming work. If they turn from transgression. From Adam onward, men have failed to receive the redemption God offers because they will not give up their transgression. Over and over, God comes to save, and over and over again, men return to transgression. God now offers grace, and men reject it too.

Task for Today: Be one of those who accept the Redeemer and spreads the words of God to the next generation. Tell your children and their children and if you are lucky enough to their children too. God delivers from sin and death. There is no good reason to die eternally.
