Hebrews 13:23, 24, 25

“You should know that our brother Timothy has been released, with whom I shall see you if he comes soon. Greet all your leaders and all the saints. Those who come from Italy send you greetings. Grace be with all of you.”

And so the letter ends like so many other New Testament writings with personal notes. Timothy is well known to all the churches of Asia Minor, Greece, and Italy. From Paul’s writings, we get the idea that Timothy is also a great servant of the Lord and thus well-liked by Christians all over. The church well recognized the need for constant reassurance to each other. Greetings and holy kisses abounded. The book ends with a reminder of grace. Amazing grace, how sweet the sound to every Christian in every corner of the world.

Task for Today: Greet your leaders and all the saints with glad tidings, with words of encouragement and a reminder to live in grace. May His grace be with us all, Amen.

Hope you have enjoyed our journey through Hebrews. The blogger will take a short sabbatical. We will resume the blog with a look at verses from the prophets.
