The Red Shoe was a real shoe first seen by my wife Grace. She thought there must be a story behind an abandoned shoe in the middle of a four lane street in our home town. The more I thought about it the more I was convinced that she was right. I had never written a book but thought it would be fun so I sat down at the computer and started writing. I was surprised at how rapidly the story came to me. I have spent more time correcting mistakes and fixing grammatical errors that the composition of the story itself took. In fact, the editing process is ten times harder than the writing was. The book is self published on Kindle and has a few mistakes. I am currently trying to correct as many of those as I can.
